Quick Notes: capture a thought without leaving the board
A personal scratchpad in the header that autosaves — and turns into a card on any board with one click. Included from Business Standard.
Quick Notes is a personal scratchpad in the Zuuna header. It is available from every page, it saves as you type, and anything in it can be turned into a card on any board.
The problem isn't the notes
The thought arrives in the middle of something else: during a call, while reading a ticket, two minutes before a meeting. Turning it into a card right then means interrupting what you were doing — pick a board, pick a column, phrase a title. So it goes on a sticky note, into a chat message to yourself, or into a second app.
And there it stays. Not because the tool was missing, but because the trip back to the board never happens.
Capture first, file later
Quick Notes separates the two steps. Writing it down costs nothing and interrupts nothing. Filing happens when you are looking at the board anyway — and the note becomes a card where it belongs.
It is the same idea that sits behind a well-kept backlog: not every idea has to be sorted immediately, but none of them may be lost.
Personal, not shared
The scratchpad is yours. Nobody else in the workspace can see it, and it is deliberately not a place for shared documents — half-formed thoughts do not want an audience. For content a team works on together there are Documents.
Where the notes live
Plenty of project tools have a scratchpad. The difference is underneath it: your notes sit on our own servers in Germany, not with a cloud provider, and they do not leave the EU. What that means in practice — processing agreements, retention periods, sub-processors — is set out in the guide to GDPR-compliant project management.
And the card the note becomes is not an isolated entry: it lands on a board that already knows about sprints, releases and connected git repositories. The path from a passing thought to a commit stays in one system.
