Not all work is a card. Concepts, minutes, decisions and requirements are text — and usually live in a second tool that knows nothing about the board. Zuuna's documents sit alongside it, in the same workspace and under the same permissions.
What they hold
Rich text with headings, lists and inline images. Word import for what is already written, and Word export for anything that has to leave the building — the way out matters as much as the way in.
Document boards
A board can carry documents instead of cards. That is for the case where a body of text needs the same structure as work: columns for state, an owner, filters. A handbook in progress is not that different from a backlog of chapters.
The reverse also holds: a half-formed thought does not belong in a shared document. That is what Quick Notes is for — personal, instantly available, and one click from becoming a card.
Why not the wiki next door
Because otherwise the document holding a decision and the card implementing it live in two systems with two permission models — and one of them reliably goes stale. Here the board's group permissions cover the text as well.
