Time tracking on the card — with estimates and reports
Estimate effort, log time where the work lives, and compare the two. From Business Pro — and explicitly not statutory working-time recording.
Zuuna's time tracking sits on the card: you estimate the effort, log time as you work — with a timer or as an entry — and compare estimate against actual afterwards. There is no second tool where somebody retypes in the evening what they did during the day.
Estimate and actual in one place
The card carries both side by side: estimated effort, logged time, and the progress between them. That is the number a retrospective needs — not "how long did it take" but "how far off were we, and on what kind of work".
A timer that starts itself
Automations can take over the clock: start time when a card moves to in progress, stop it at done. The reverse works too — logged time can itself trigger an automation. If you would rather not, log by hand; both produce the same entries.
Reports and billing
Logged time rolls up into board and workspace reports: by person, by card, by period. For billable work you can store rates — per member or as a default — so recorded hours become an amount without anyone maintaining a spreadsheet.
⚠️ What this explicitly is NOT
This is project time tracking, not statutory working-time recording. Zuuna records how much time went into a task — not the start, end and breaks of a working day, and it produces no records for working-time documentation. If that is what you need, you need a different tool, and we are not going to pretend this is the same thing.
Plan
Time tracking and reports are included from Business Pro, alongside documents, SSO and the IP allowlist. They are in the Developer plan as well.
FAQ
Is this legally compliant working-time recording?
No, deliberately. Zuuna records time against tasks, not working days with start, end and breaks. For statutory documentation duties, a system built for that is the right place.
Which plan includes time tracking?
Business Pro and up. It ships there together with the reports, and is included in the Developer plan too.
Can the timer run automatically?
Yes. An automation can start the timer when a card moves into a given column and stop it when the card reaches the done column.
Can hours be billed?
Yes. There are per-member rates and a default rate; the workspace report turns recorded time into amounts using them.
